Terms of service

1. Agreement

Nothing But Bots is a product of Pegrio LLC (we, us, our). These terms apply when you purchase or use our website assistant service. You must have authority to act for the business using the service. Any separately agreed written scope also applies to that project.

2. What the standard service includes

Each plan covers one website assistant using the business facts and FAQs you provide. It can answer common questions, capture contact details visitors choose to share, and direct them to a human contact route. Pegrio provides assistant onboarding, management, and service billing.

Phone answering, appointment booking, CRM integrations, dispatch, and other custom workflows are not included in the standard website plans. Those require a separate scope and quote. The assistant does not provide emergency assistance or professional medical, legal, or financial advice.

3. Setup and monthly billing

• The initial checkout charges the displayed one-time setup fee. Setup requires your business information and cooperation with the review process.
• Setup payment alone does not start a monthly subscription or make the assistant live. After onboarding and setup review, you may preview your assistant and choose to start monthly service through a separate Stripe checkout in the Pegrio customer portal.
• The selected monthly price and recurring payment terms are shown before you approve that subscription. Once started, it renews monthly until canceled. There is no automatic first subscription charge from the setup payment.
• Prices are stated in USD. The amount shown at the relevant checkout governs that purchase. A saved order keeps its agreed pricing.
• We may change future pricing with 30 days’ notice to affected subscribers. Any change to an existing subscription applies no earlier than a subsequent renewal after that notice.

4. Reply allowance and availability

Your plan specifies a monthly allowance of generated assistant replies, not entire conversations. The allowance resets on the first day of each calendar month in UTC, independently of your subscription billing date. At the limit, AI replies pause and the widget provides a contact fallback. There are no automatic overage charges.

Service depends on an approved setup, an active paid subscription, and the correct website installation. It can be interrupted by outages, failed payments, a paused assistant, or exhausted usage. We do not promise uninterrupted availability, a fixed support response time, or a fixed setup deadline unless separately agreed in writing.

5. Cancellation and refunds

• You may schedule cancellation in the Pegrio customer portal or contact support for help. Cancellation stops renewal at the end of the current paid period; service remains available until that period ends, subject to your allowance and these terms.
• Pausing the assistant or removing its embed code does not cancel a subscription.
• First-purchase setup guarantee: New customers may request a refund of their first setup fee within 30 days of that payment. Email support with your order details so we can verify eligibility and process the request.
• Outside that first-purchase guarantee, setup fees and partial monthly periods are non-refundable, except where a separate written agreement or applicable law requires otherwise.
• Cancellation does not automatically issue a refund. Billing disputes, duplicate payments, and refund requests are reviewed by support; keep your payment receipt and order reference.

6. Your responsibilities

• Provide accurate business information, review the assistant’s answers, and keep FAQs, contact details, and policies current.
• Have permission to use the content you supply and to add the widget to your website.
• Give visitors appropriate notice about AI responses and how their information will be used. Follow up on inquiries and confirm bookings, prices, and commitments yourself.
• Do not submit passwords, payment-card details, health records, or other sensitive information to the assistant or knowledge base.
• Do not use the service for spam, harassment, deception, unlawful activity, or to impersonate a human. Keep any AI disclosure visible.
• Protect your account credentials and email sign-in links. Notify support if you suspect unauthorized access.

7. AI answers and support

AI can produce incorrect or incomplete answers even when supplied with accurate facts. Review the preview and ongoing conversations, and pause the assistant if an error could mislead visitors. Do not rely on it for safety-critical decisions or use it as a substitute for qualified professional advice. We provide support by email for account and technical issues and handle personal information as described in our privacy policy.

8. Content and platform rights

You retain your rights to the business content you provide. You allow us and the service providers needed to operate the assistant to process that content for setup, answering questions, support, and service operation. Pegrio and its licensors retain their rights in the platform and software. Third-party AI models remain subject to their providers’ rights.

9. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nothing But Bots and Pegrio LLC are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits or revenue. Our total liability for a claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

10. Governing law and changes

These terms are governed by Texas law, subject to applicable mandatory protections. Disputes are to be resolved in the courts of Harris County, Texas, except where applicable law requires otherwise. We may update these terms and will communicate material changes to active customers by email.
